#DESC_PRTO_Minefield
^
^
^Land mines can be deployed by engineers units (Allied Combat Engineers ard PAVN Sappers) or direcly scattered from a city with an airport (or from an airbase) using the Airdrop button. Deployment from city is modeled by a paradrop animation (Allied) to simulate air scattering and by a worker animation (Communist) to simulate traditional mine deployment. Once deployed mines cannot move and untless they are destroyed by enemy you can only either disband them or pick them up using an engineering-capable unit.
^In fierce fightings of Vietnam War also civilian irregular flankers sometimes deployed mines. This is modeled by the ability of Indochinese Civilians (hidden nationality unit) to carry and deploy land mines.
